Dr. Doug Stein and Dr. John Curington perform gentle vasectomies in north Florida at the office of Dr. Brij Rana. The office is called Doctors’ Office and Walk-In Care (formerly Family Physicians & Urgent Medical Care), and is building # 5 in a small complex just off 5th Street in Live Oak.
(We have enjoyed providing vasectomies in north Florida, but we no longer go to Live Oak. The gentle, highly effective method of vasectomy has become very popular, and very many men are requesting the procedure. We have so many patients in our main office in Tampa/Lutz that we have to focus on the main office. If you still want to have a vasectomy with Dr. Curington or Dr. Stein, you will have to come to our main office in Lutz. Otherwise, Florida has many fine vasectomy physicians and we recommend that you find one closer to your location.)

Only one visit is required, but you will have the office and cell phone numbers of Drs. Stein and Curington so that you can always reach them if you have questions after your procedure. You will also be given a mailer, so that you can send a semen sample to our Tampa office 12 weeks after your vasectomy to be sure that your semen is sperm-free. We strongly encourage you to pre-register on our On-line Vasectomy Registration page, indicating your desired location and date per our schedule. When our staff detects your registration in our secure holding area, we will call you to arrange a specific time on your chosen date. Stein and Curington are not contracted providers in an attempt to get reimbursement or credit toward your deductible. For questions about Medicaid, please click here.
