Kenya 2018
In early 2018, Dr. John Curington traveled to Kenya with the NSVI team. NSVI (No-Scalpel Vasectomy International) is a group of volunteer physicians who train other doctors throughout the world in the technique of gentle no-scalpel vasectomy. Dr. Curington and his colleague, Dr. Doug Stein, flew to Nairobi to support the Kenyan domestic vasectomy team in performing surgeries and continuing their training. Dr. Curington and Dr. Stein joined their Kenyan colleague, Dr. Charles Ochieng, in the FHOK clinic in downtown Nairobi, where they did radio and TV interviews, local surgical training and free vasectomies.
